The Lifelong Learning Centre (K.D.B.M.) PROSON, in collaboration with the Center for Security Studies (KEMEA), organizes training programs for individuals who wish to work as private security personnel (Security). KEMEA is a body supervised by the Ministry of Citizen Protection and is the most scientific, research and advisory body for security issues.

According to the updated regulatory framework (Governmental Bank of Macedonia) B’4491/25-08-2022), persons wishing to obtain a Security work permit must 1) attend a training program of 105 teaching hours, and receive the relevant Certificate of Training and 2) successfully participate in the Security Certification Examinations of KEMEA and receive a Certificate of Adequacy of the specialty “Primary Security Persons.”

The basic specifications of the training programs are as follows:

Each training program has a duration of 105 teaching hours.

  • Courses are made remotely live through a friendly e-learning platform.
  • The curriculum is approved by KEMEA and derives from the professional outline of the specialty entitled “Primary Security Personal,” as approved and published by EOPPEP.
  • All questions of the theoretical and practical part of the examinations (themes bank) required for the successful participation in the certification examinations are fully covered.
  • The trainers are certified adult trainers from the Professional Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP). The training team consists of police officers, legalists, firefighters, psychologists and nurses. They have a rich professional and teaching experience in the subjects they teach.
